Ce livre est un nouveau recueil d’essais sur la pensée d’Emmanuel Levinas. Le message principal est que nous manquons encore d’une véritable lecture an-ontologique de Levinas, comprenant ses descriptions comme mises en lumière du plus humain de l’homme et pas de l’être de l’homme. L’introduction rattache cette lecture de Levinas à la pensée personnelle de son auteur. Le livre contient trois textes inédits, et deux textes inédits en France.

This book is a new collection of essays on Levinas’ thought. The main thesis is that we are still in want of a true an-ontological reading of Levinas : an interpretation taking his analyses as bearing on the most human in human, rather than on the being of human. The introductory paper connects such a reading with the author’s personal thought. One may find in the book three unpublished essays, and two papers that did not appear already in France.
